last August Mrs. Lucy Clark had been suffering from
rheumatism and other ailments and she spent some time at
the hospital in
Ypsilanti
. She returned home and almost immediately was taken with
typhoid fever, which resulted in her death Wednesday, Dec.
29, 1920. Mrs.
Lucy Clark was born in
Williamston
,
Mich.
, on March 31, 1852. She was the youngest daughter of Dr.
Henry Palmer and Mrs. Lucy Palmer.
At the age of five year she moved with her parents
to
Holly
,
Mich.
, where they resided for nine years.
In 1866 the family moved to
Milan
, which place has been their home ever since.
In Sept., 1873 she was united in marriage to Mr.
George Clark. She adopted three daughters, and proved a
kind and loving mother, ever desiring the best in life for
her girls. Miss Eva Palmer preceded her in death, being
called to her heavenly ….
