Sylvesta Easton Howard
Born 1815 in New York.  Came to Berrien County, Michigan with her husband John Farley Howard.  She became blind sometime in her mid-20's.  Raised four kids on the farm southeast of Benton Harbor and St. Joe.  Died in 1926, buried at Pearl Cemetery along Napier Road.
