Carol and Helen McKindley

Helen, left, with her older sister Carol.  

Carol was born in 1923, and Helen was born in 1924. Their parents had a fruit farm in rural Berrien County, Michigan.  These girls attended a two-room schoolhouse at Pearl Grange.
