Isabel Randall Wees
She left her native Canada in 1853 to join her mother and uncle in St. Joe, in Berrien County, Michigan. Her uncle was a ship builder in the 1840's, but left the Berrien County area to try his luck in the California gold rush.
Isabel had 7 children, 6 of whom were born in Berrien County.  She died in 1917 and is buried in the Pearl Cemetery southeast of Benton Harbor.
