George Wellington Wyman lived from 1836 to 1902.  He was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, the son of William Wyman and Mary Larkin.  

George was married in 1864 to Rebecca Eldridge.  Their wedding took place in Short Beach, N.S., near Yarmouth.  

One of the witnesses on the marriage license was Nathan Churchill, a farmer, who had just married George's sister Ruth Anne Wyman three years previously.  Ruth and Nathan already had two baby boys by the time of this wedding, one of their boys being named "George."
