Zaccheus Churchill was born February 23, 1786. His father was Ephraim Churchill (b. 1759) and his mother was Asenath Hibbard Churchill. Ephraim had left Plymouth, Massachusetts to live in Nova Scotia because he was a British loyalist.

Zaccheus, (also spelled "Zacheris") was married to his first wife, Susannah Rose Killam. She died on November 18, but the year is too blurry to read on the chart. He had a second wife, whose name is also too blurry to read on the chart, and they had six children.

Zaccheus died May 23, 1861. The land for the Churchill Cemetery in Yarmouth was donated by either Zaccheus or by his father Ephraim. Zaccheus had the following children:

1. Drusilla Churchill, born January 5, 1810. She married Benjamin Redding and had three children.
2. Stephen Churchill, a farmer. Born October 11, 1811. Married on December 22, 1835 to Elizabeth Bizney (?). He married his second wife, Mrs. Julia (Phillips) Porter. Stephen had seven children.
3. Hannah Churchill. Born October 14, 1813. She was married in 1835 (?) to William Murphy and had two children.
4. Zaccheus Churchill, a schoolteacher in Yarmouth. He was born July 1, 1815. He married Susan P. Saunders (?) on April 23, 1840. He married his second wife, Drusilla (Earic [?]) Snow, on July 13, 1859. Zaccheus had five children including one named John S. Churchill, born Feb. 22, 1847, who married Sarah R. Wyman on July 19, 1876.
5. Richard Churchill. Born February 19, 1818. Married Deborah Crosby on December 28, 1841.
6. Nathan Churchill, a farmer, grandfather of Stanley Horace Churchill (see biography below). Nathan Churchill was born August 14, 1820. He married Martha Doane November 24, 1845.

Nathan Churchill was born August 12, 1820. He married Martha Doane on November 25, 1845. Nathan was a farmer.

Their children were:

1. Elmira Churchill. Born May 7, 1846. Married John Saunders May 7, 1863.
2. Lydia Ann Churchill. Born Septebmer 22, 1848. Married Joseph Eldridge April 29, 1871.
3. Miriam Churchill. Born June 20, or 29, 1850. (Chart is blurry.) Married Howard thurston on December 14, 1864.
4. Calvin E. Churchill. Born September 30, 1857. Married Anna C. Churchill on March 9, 1881.
5. Charles E. Churchill. He was born August 1, 1865. He married Sadie R. Ellis. Charles was married a second time, to Mary R. Wyman.
6. Ada Churchill. Born January 14, 1864. Died July 19, 1864.

Calvin E. Churchill was born Sept. 30, 1857. He married Anna C. Churchill, on March 9, 1881.

Anna was born _____ and died on ________.

Their children were:

1. Gordon H. Churchill, b. 1885, died 1931
2. Stanley Horace Churchill, born July 6, 1887, married Dec. 24, 1944.

Stanley Horace Churchill was born July 6, 1887. He married Lorenda Agnes Landers on Dec. 24, 1914.

Lorenda Agnes Landers died August 5, 1971 at the age of 82.

Stanley and Lorenda Churchill had two children:

1. Daughter, still living.
2. Douglas Stanley Churchill. Born July 23, 1925 in Yarmouth, N.S. He married Althea Sheila Frost. Douglas died Feb. 26, 1987.

Douglas Churchill was born July 23, 1925 in Yarmouth, N.S. His parents were Stanley Horace Churchill and Lorenda Landers Churchill. Douglas had one sister, who is still living.

Douglas married Althea Frost on December 24, 1944. They had four children.  Douglas died February 26, 1987 and is buried at Darlings Lake Cemetery in Yarmouth County, N.S.
