John McKindley "Mexico" 1814-1887

His wife: Ruby C. Loomis, 1818-1900

John McKindley operated a tannery in Mexico, New York.  His parents were William and Martha McLean McKindley.  He died when his left hand was caught in some machinery and was mangled.  So many bones were broken, the doctor had to amputate the hand.  He died soon afterwards of "blood poisoning."

2. Martha Permilia McKindley, 1843-1927 (married Phineas H. Castle, 1840-1928)
3. Margaret C. McKindley, never married, 1846-1848
4. Belle McKindley, never married, 1849-1867
5. Peter McKindley, 1853-1934. Married Lydia E. Ryan, then had second wife, Elizabeth Waugh.
