"Ephraim I"

Ephraim was born October 15, 1709, the son of Stephen and Experience Churchill. He married Priscilla Manchester on March 27, 1730, and had eight children. Priscilla died December 17, 1749. Ephraim died December 14, 1749.

1. Mary, born August 14, 1730. She married James Drew in 1750 and had 9 children.
2. Charles, born April 25, 1733. He married Sarah (Cobb) Churchill, widow of Isaac. Charles and Sarah had had seven children.
3. Zaccheus, born February 20, 1735. He married Mary Trask on September 16, 1754 and had eight children. Their fourth child was Ephraim ("Ephraim II") born September 1759; Ephraim went to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
4. Ephraim, born July 2, 1738. He married Jemima Bryant on November 28, 1751 and had seven children.
5. Priscilla, born January 8, 1740. She married John Rider on April 25, 1758.
6. Ellis, born November 25, 1742. In 1764, he married Patience Churchill, the daughter of Jacob. Ellis and Patience had four children.
7. Ansel, born March 29, 1745. He married Bethia Holmes on July 17, 1765 and had five children.
8. John, born July 16, 1748. He married his first wife, Olive Cobb. He married his second wife, Mrs. Lucy Pratt on December 27, 1776.
